My nests are part of Salon of Artists in Zoya Gallery
8. July 2025Fulfilled wishes don’t fall from the sky. They are achieved through a path made up of steps. Some are small, such as a single texted message or email. Some are bigger, like when I encourage myself to network and connect with new people. Sometimes a nice collaboration starts, and sometimes it doesn’t. And I don’t let myself be discouraged. And then there are big steps, like when I have a canvas of 120 x 160 cm in front of me, it’s empty and white, and I make the first move, then the second, the next, and then I can’t stop. It’s my Ariadne’s thread that I unwind from inside me. The beginning or the end do not matter, I just know that this is me and this is part of my continuum.
The result is my artwork, All My Inherited Nests, which you can currently see at the Salon of Artists at Zoya Museum Elesko Wine Park in Modra. The gallery offers a beautiful space and provides the salon with equally generous time. It is a big step to be a part of the Salon as an artist this year. I am in the company of almost a hundred artists and their works. Take a trip to Modra this summer, you won’t regret it!
